Therapist

Hi! I am Anna Aderton, MSW, APSW, and I’m proud to be part of the Seasons Counseling team doing therapy, mentorship, and parent support. I bring a person-centered, compassionate approach to therapy, one rooted in empathy, free from judgment, and centered around what matters most to you. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Winona State University. Previously a music teacher and performer, I’ve now been working in the mental health field since 2017. Whether we’re navigating trauma, identity, grief, or just the daily weight of being human, I create a space where you can breathe, explore, and sit with the unknowns in a supportive environment. I am trained in Brainspotting and find it to be a useful tool while on the therapeutic journey. I work with all ages and am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I’m a passionate advocate for my clients and deeply believe in the power of authentic connection and being seen just as you are. People often describe me as warm and approachable. I take my work seriously, but I love the unserious parts of life that bring joy and lightness. Outside of therapy, you’ll find me kayaking, throwing pottery, baking something sweet, or going to concerts. I enjoy knowing what is happening in pop culture. Seeing the Eras Tour was the thrill of a lifetime, and like Taylor Swift, I am in love with my cat!
