Hi! My name is Alyssa Sutherland-Lasee and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and a Master’s degree in Social Work at Winona State University with a focus on providing trauma informed clinical mental health services. I hold roles in both management and direct service at Seasons Counseling including providing Service Facilitation and Therapy services for CCS consumers in Columbia County. I also serve as a Service Facilitator and Compliance Manager at Seasons Counseling. As a service facilitator, I utilize an individualized, solution focused and strengths-based approach, using creativity to help clients identify resources and achieve their goals. As a therapist, I utilize somatic theory, motivational interviewing, parts work, and principles from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am in the process of completing a DBT certification. I enjoy working with adults and teenagers who are about to transition into adulthood. I have experience working with clients who are facing substance use concerns and have knowledge of relevant resources and treatment options. Prior to working with the CCS program, I worked in vocational rehabilitation and have experience helping individuals with barriers to employment find and maintain work. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing yoga and spending time with my cats.
